Q1: For socket set screw, what is the black oxide process?
A: Socket set screw is different from DIN912, for DIN912 items, black oxide process can be achieved in the heat treatment furnace. For socket set screw, the process cannot be achieved in the heat treatment furnace, it has to be done separately, so the items are sent to out sourced professional cooperates for the black oxide treatment.
Q2: What is the standard of the set screw production?
A: Metric size items are as per DIN EN ISO 2003 Standard.
Inch size items are as per IFI standard.
A: The material VM use for socket set screw is SCM435. The materials are mostly from (China Steel Corporation from Taiwan and Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corporation). Heat treatment 45H (HRC45-53). Socket set screws are headless screws, so tensile strength test is not applicable, but torque value is examined.
Q4. What's the method of testing for the socket set screws?
A: Metric size item: 6g6g.
Zinc plated: 6h.
Inch size item: 3A ring gauge.
Q5:Do you produce the item in other material?

Brass: C2600/C2700,
Stainless Steel: A2(302/303/304), A4(316/316CU),

止付螺絲因為沒有頭部,所以正常情況下無法測拉力,只有測扭力值。
Q4:貴公司環規測試標準
A:本公司公制是採用6g6g固定式環規,英制採用3A牙可調式環規為標準,
電鍍後之標準公制標準為6h。
Q5:貴公司有生產其他的材料產品嗎?
A:我們止付螺絲有生產銅C2600/C2700,鋁6011/2011/2024,
